Bittersweet Revenge - Theoriginalcopycatkiller
L paced back and forth around his room. Matt was gone, Sayu was alive, and now he was faced with a bigger challenge. Finding the one responsible. It hadn’t been so easy for the detective over the last few days. First with Matt killing Sayu, and then Matt being killed not long after. Hearing the news made him feel such a tightness in his chest, something like he’d never felt before.
He’d had a connection to Matt, like any child who’d been at Wammy’s. But over the past few days he felt he’d been getting closer to the redhead, though most of it was fighting. Matt, in a way, was like a son to him. A lost son.
And now he was dead. The man balled his fists and sat down in front of his laptop, there was one thing he’d discussed with Matt not long before he died. He’d suggested framing Beyond for Sayu’s attempted murder. Normally the detective would never do something involving putting the person who wasn’t responsible into prison, but B wasn’t innocent, as he’d killed in the past. And something had gone on between him and Matt that Matt wasn’t telling him..
He’d made up his mind. He’d find B and get some answers, then put him back into prison. He knew perfectly well now that Sayu loved the man deeply, but he was so driven, it was impossible to stop him.
L walked out his door, in search of the other man, a pistol in his pocket just in case.
