How does endgame feel?

Pretty fucking amazing. They never had to include any of the implied romantic stuff their final season, but they did. If I said I never doubted the writers, I’d be lying. But it almost makes some of the worst (season 13, season 2) worth it. Almost.

She’s not Laurel. She’s not. She’s the e2 version of Laurel. But that doesn’t make her Laurel. She’s not the sister Sara grew up with, nor is she the daughter Quentin raised. 

Because that Laurel is dead and she’s never coming back. And I be willing to bet money that she doesn’t get a redemption arc. Why should she? Name one thing e2 Laurel has done to deserve one? She has actively worked with only villains since popping up, she’s tried to kill the heroes repeatedly, she has manipulated them by using the memory of their dead friend/daughter (in Lance’s case). She’s a bad person. And that’s okay. It’s okay to have a villain who doesn’t get redeemed. It’s okay if Black Siren stays evil the whole time she’s around. What’s so bad about having a female villain? 

Or is she only worth something to you if she take the place of a dead girl?

Zaya isn't endgame are they? 😢😢😢

I got this three times. You really meant business. :p Honestly, I don’t know. I have no doubt they’ll be addressed at some point. But will they get a clear endgame the same way Triles and maybe fucking Gronah will? I don’t know. All I can tell based on the episode descriptions is that Zig/Esme is over by the finale. However, we also have to remember two things. First, we haven’t seen all the episode descriptions. Only 401 has revealed all three plots. Second, Zaya wasn’t alluded to even once in the season 3 episode descriptions yet they still managed to include Zaya stuff first in 302 and then in the last three episodes of season 3. With Maya’s feelings for Zig being so clear, it’s difficult for me to imagine Zaya not going anywhere. I’ve started considering that something either happens on the camping trip or maybe at prom. But I’m attempting to keep expectations low. I know it’s a stressful time, but as much as I want to throw in the towel, I can’t. :p

I'll probably end up dragging a few stans later. But right now I'm gonna enjoy the scene with Zig tearing up while next to Esme and assume it's them breaking up! And with Winston and what's her face romance in the promo it makes the couples seating in that behind the scenes video even more obvious that there is a high chance of a Zaya endgame!

😂 I’m glad you got online. Yeah, honestly, I feel like this fandom jumps the gun and always assumes the worst from Zig and the best from most everyone else whenever there’s the possibility he’ll be involved in something negative. The first time I saw the promo which was in lower quality, it appeared Zig had been bullying Saad but then I saw the one in higher quality and noticed this: 

I’m not sure of the exact order, but this is the strongest evidence Zig is bullying Saad yet it only occurs after Saad punches Zig. So he may have initiated it? The way I see it, neither character is a bad person and we barely know Saad. Zig has an unfortunate history of getting into it with literally every guy Maya crosses paths with, but some of his motivation is to protect her. So basically, I don’t know what’s going on. I’m not ready to cheer on Zig being punched on the off chance he hadn’t done anything to deserve it. There was also this character slide. It’s not exact because Zig is clearly not Maya’s brother, but it appears that if this character slide reflects what happens between them in season 4, their encounter is mutually negative with both accusing the other of being to blame. As for the Zig/Esme thing, if it’s not the breakup scene, it’s close to it. Because there is only one reason Zig would care to confront Saad. It’s about Maya because literally everything is about Maya. So to me, both could be problematic.

Also, Esme is nowhere in sight. ;) Chelsea implied in an interview earlier that Zig/Esme is only a “for now” relationship which is what most of us have been thinking. I don’t know if this is the finale or simply a random season 4 episode, but Zaya interacting one on one at all is something and seeing them surrounded by other couples.. it could be a major hint. LMAO thank you, by the way. I thought it would get like 8 notes. :p I LOVE YOU, TOO. 💞

We were so worried about Zig and Maya not sharing scenes 😂 There scenes meant something and were so subtle. While Esme and Zig were just a plot point. Esme and Zig were about showing their individual characters (her mom, his home life) never really about their relationship meaning anything as strong as his with Maya.

I definitely picked up on that. Especially about Zig/Esme being more about character development. The scene where Tiny flat out says it’s not like Zig is in love with Esme and he never corrects him tells me something. I think Zig likes Esme and cares for her and obviously they have a lot of fun, but I doubt she’s the one in his heart. The Maya stuff though.. just wow. Once again singing “Yes”, asking Esme to take care of Zig, kissing Zig in the first place and telling him she misses him, etc. If they could only get on the same page again, things could be great.. just kill me.
