Maybe while bro thought he was helping Dave by raising him in such a way, on some level it was an attempt to weaken him. Dave acknowledged it didn’t make him stronger, and Dirk is a smart guy who I think has the potential to see when his attempts at bettering those he cares about fail. People have defended bro saying he was trying to toughen Dave up, but seeing as the influence of lil cal has been speculated in the update to be so strong, I think we can definitely argue that Dave was right. Bro on some level DID hate Dave and want to weaken him.

// just a quick note My internet has been jerking me around the last few days, but doesn’t seem to work since last night pretty much at all. I’m using the 3G on my phone at the minute but I can’t stay on it very long before my data runs out. I guess It’s because we cancelled our Virgin Media contract, though we still have it up until the end of June apparently they’re going to be assholes and mess us around until then.
