Out of the blue, the formidable fighter and mother, Alysane Mormont, cautions Asha about waiting too long to start a family.
"Aye." Alysane stared at Asha for a moment. "I have a son. He's only two. My daughter's nine."
"You started young."
"Too young. But better that than wait too late."
A stab at me, Asha thought, but let it be. "You are wed."
"No. My children were fathered by a bear." Alysane smiled. Her teeth were crooked, but there was something ingratiating about that smile. "Mormont women are skinchangers. We turn into bears and find mates in the woods. Everyone knows."

The author prevents Asha from having more than a sip.
Ser Justin found them places on the bench and fetched supper for the both of them—ale and chunks of horsemeat, charred black outside and red within. Asha took a sip of ale and fell upon the horse flesh.

Another theory blown to hell. Stapes said to rewatch the promo and I did. The paramedic says multiple-gun shot wounds. I didn't hear that when I watched it on the TV last night. I just found the promo and cranked up the sound and I did hear it. Sorry for trying to go down a rabbit hole.
I'm not sure why people are people are complaining about Booth being shot (or hurt). For a man who has had a gun pointed at him a heck of a lot of times, it's a miracle that he hasn't been shot more than twice.
One of the times he was shot was due to a ricochet and the other was because he stepped in between Pam Noonan and Brennan. He's been in an explosion and he's fallen and had two concussions but I don't think this is over doing it. The show has been on since 2005. I've seen shows where the hero gets hurt all of the time.
The idea that the promo is out of context still holds. We are only seeing a tiny snapshot of what is going on and it probably is not the cliffhanger. I'm pretty confident that promo takes place earlier in the show or at least not in the end.

Orochimaru joins Sarutobi and together they beat the weird statue thing up.
Led by someone aware of both her abilities and Naruto's condition, Karin reaches Sakura and lets her bite her so she can heal Naruto. Or maybe she makes Naruto bite her himself.
Sasuke is somehow saved by the chakra Hashirama gave him before.
Minato finally appears and gives Naruto the other half of the Kyuubi.
Naruto is super strong again and he lends chakra to all the shinobi alliance.
Sasuke has a new super cool power now, and along with Naruto, Sakura and the rest, they kick Madara's, Zetsu's and Obito's asses.
