I was thinking about the possibilty of Ralsei being alternate reality's Asriel, since their name is an anagram like Kris', and we already know that Kris is (at least when it comes to their body) alternate reality's Frisk, but it didn't make sense, they already HAVE an Asriel there with them

But then it clicked.

We haven't seen Asriel, not even a picture, not even anyone describing his appearance, we don't know how Deltarune's Asriel looks like, no one said ANYTHING about Azzy being a goat or having white fur or anything like that, the closest hint we can get about him still looking the same, is when Toriel tells Kris about the time when Kris was little and asked when their horns would grow, and we just assumed "oh, it's because their whole family has horns", but there's nothing from that one dialogue between Kris and Toriel that confirms Asriel as having horns too.

My point is: for all we know, maybe Deltarune's Asriel isn't Undertale's Asriel, maybe they just share a name.

Kris isn't completely a dick though, and they aren't possessed either. Kris rushes to protect Susie in the boss fight, and when Monster Kid talks bad about her they get annoyed. They get sad when they drink hot chocolate and feel bitter if you drop the ball of junk. So they aren't all that bad, I don't think. Also, Toby said this game has nothing to do with undertale's ending, which is why Kris isn't possessed by anyone.

Omg anon i’m so sosrry idk how long this has been on my inboxAnywayThe whole “whatever you do in this game won’t affect the ending u got for undertale” either means this is an alternate universe that has nothing to do with undertale AT ALL, or it’s a prequel, and tbh toby has been working on this since 2013, which means he has been working on this alongside working on undertale, so this isn’t just an au where toby wants to have some fun and tell another story or whatever, this is important to the undertale plot, also the reason i belive this is a prequel is because toby has said that this game won’t have alternate endings, and also the theme of “ur choices don’t matter” makes sense because you can’t change the past, but anyway that’s a theory for a whoooolllee different post

But anyway, I have grown to believe that Kris is a chaotic neutral character of some sort, they probably are the type of person that only care about what’s important to them and the people close to them, they aren’t a 100% pacifist like Frisk, which is just weird to me because they share the same body so i don’t understand why they wouldn’t share the same personality, but I honestly don’t have any theories for that (other than I THINK Chara and Frisk were maybe both Kris at one point and the Kris was split into both of them somehow? But i honestly have no backing up for that and it’s based on almost nothing)

Anyway, the reason i think Kris may be possesed or may be a dick or at least evil, is that at the end they were just,,,, scary,, like even if it was this whole “they were just mad that you were controlling them, YOU are the dick” it wouldn’t make sense cuz,,,,, they were SMILLING you know? They weren’t looking angrilly at us, they were being scary and creppy on PURPOSE, they didn’t seem MAD at you, they seemed like they were enjoying locking you up and making you “"suffer”“Which wouldn’t make sense unless the person doing that was evil somehowSo I don’t know! I really think Kris lives by their own definition of morale and ethics and that they don’t go out of their way to be mean, they are just neutral, but then that smile at the end doesn’t add up and I honestly can’t think of any other reason for it other than Kris maybe hiding the fact that they’re evil and pretending to be a pacifist by protecting susie and stuff (but then it wouldn’t make sense when they get more annoyed by monster kid saying she isn’t around) or maybe that person at the end isn’t actually kris.

I just don’t know Anon, so far, we barely know anything about the kid, we just gotta wait and see
