Theory Introduction

Postcolonial theory can be seen as a critical lens on certain characteristics from the times prior to colonization of that part of the world.  This can include cultures, politics, scientific knowledge, societal norms, and a number of other things. The world was considered completely colonized by the mid-20th century.
