Species: Theotes
The theotes are the gods of Verascith. They’re elemental spirits, worshipped by most others, as they created the world everyone lives in. Each theote represents a different element of the universe: air, water, fire, ground, love, light, death, darkness, poison, metal, ice, lightning, and so on.
They are usually unseen by the residents of Verascith, but can be communicated with through prayer and Latin spells. On rare occassions, a resident of Verascith may receive a gift or blessing from a theote, or be favored by one.
Some cultures may focus their worship on just one theote, but most choose to honor all of them.
