when i’m sad i usually watch a movie or a tv show that i know is going to take my mind off of things. what i also do is read books, drink milk and honey and listen to music. it works, sometimes. other times it doesn’t, but it helps get by.

my most treasured childhood memory is when @hyejvng finally learnt to walk. we knew she was gonna be a clever child from the start, she was always making sounds and babbling things. and then one day she was crawling around the living room chasing me and when she got close to the coffee table, she held onto it and started to waddle forward. i didn’t notice at first but i turned around to see why i couldn’t hear the sound that her tiny knees made against the wooden floor of the house and i saw her there with the brightest smile moving towards me and i remember calling for my mom to see it too but when she got there hyejung was already in my arms. it was amazing to have that privilege, to be the first and only one to see that.
