2: How long have you known your best friend?

I have two best friends. There’s tallestsilver, who I’ve known going on five or six years now? We met at Wizard World Anaheim 2009, but didn’t really become close until she saved me from a creepy photographer at a con a year later. I don’t get to see her too often lately, but we went to Israel at the beginning of the Summer.

The other one is Sawyer (thepainedoctor), who is also my roommate. We met on the second day of Freshman orientation, almost four years ago, and have been good friends ever since. But apparently we hardly ever take pictures together. So here’s he and I as Green Goblin and Spider-Man from NYCC 2011 and my face awkwardly watching him playing Snape in our film, The Gathering Storm: A Marauders Fan Film. We’re often told we’re essentially a married couple, and were even given a Ship name- Sawron.

41: When was the last time you got really really happy and why?

Last night was pretty good, but I’m not going to go into it.

49: Where do you go when you’re sad?

My room, usually. I don’t really have a “spot.” Back when I was in the dorms though, it was just out on the Common.

The funeral was rough. More so than I expected. Anyway, sitting in the airport now, will finally be back home tomorrow morning.

Also, to whoever sent the ask asking about my Gathering Storm headcanons-Working on typing them up, and will post them tomorrow.  Trying to be careful with what I share, being both the director and one of the writers. Don't want to spoil anything, and don't want to give too much away. Though it has brought up an interesting question: If one of the Writer says it, does it make it canon? Or is something only canon when it's in the final product?

Which of the cast members did you already know before the film?

Oh, a question! I hardly ever get asks!There was Sawyer (thepainedoctor) of course, who plays Snape, my roommate and one of my best friends. We created the story together, and I’d always had him in mind to play Severus.

Ben (welpwomp), on the other hand, was the opposite story. We played Quidditch together freshman year, and he came on later to help with the script, and decided he wanted to come in for auditions as well. Ben actually originally came in for Sirius, but was a perfect fit for Mr. R.J. Lupin.Other than those two, I’ve known Sara Detrik (johannamasonjar), who plays Avery, and Remi Moses, who plays Alice, for several years, as they both used to go to Emerson. We do have quite a few other Emerson students in our cast, but the auditions were the first time I’d met them.
