Will Murphy on his first 7B ‘Limp Lizard’ at Churnet Valley! Really great to watch so many of us getting through the grades!
Andy Myers cutting loose on one of Churnet Valleys classics at Gentleman’s rock ‘The Nose V5/6C’
Callum van Werkhoven on his first V6/7A boulder ‘King of Drunks’ at the llanberis pass!
Its a really amazing powerful line with good holds all the way up, finishing the top out with the notorious golf ball hold!
Cal van Werkhoven on the last climb of the day at the lovely Trevor Rocks!
There’s nothing better than climbing while the sun sets, always so peaceful.
Angus Kille leading the second pitch of ‘Valkyrie VS 4c’ at The Roaches, definitely a must do on your first visit!
I still get confused with British tech grades! I think unless you check a grade comparison sheet just add one number grade to the grade and that’s usually how hard it is.
Charlotte Trickebank topping out the last route of the day ‘Maud’s Garden HVD’
A few of us at The part Timers aren't into their trad climbing so we had a day of teaching them and climbing easy trad. Sometimes you ignore routes because they’re so easy but you really miss out on some fantastic features!
Charlotte Tricklebank on the dynamic start to the highball ‘Marxist Undertones f6A’
We actually made a first ascent of a problem to the left, its a really powerful lock off on a no so great crimp we gave it about f6B+
How do you celebrate after topping out your project?
