Right?! Teenagers are notoriously awful when they’re dealing with romantic feelings and rejection, etc. I once told a guy I liked that I didn’t think he was boyfriend material solely bc I was mad he went on a date with another girl. Totally awful/mean thing to say! I was just hurt and didn’t know how to deal. (This same guy and I went on to date for 3 years, fun fact.)
Yep. And I’m sure you weren’t a horrible person back then and you didn’t grow up to be one, so why do we hold fictional teenagers to some ridiculous, non-existent standards??
