In general, Carter tends to have a hard time falling asleep most nights. When he does, he usually curls up on his side with as much of the blankets tucked around him as he can manage, and it is very easy to wake him up with even the slightest nose. Once him and Sebastian start regularly sharing beds, he finds it easier to both fall asleep and stay asleep, nestled under the other’s warm body on top of him. Eventually, it becomes the only way he can get a restful night’s sleep.
Carter enjoys warm weather above all else, but if the sun is beating directly down on him, it may as well be pouring. He likes summer but he loves it when it’s slightly cloudy, providing just a bit of a barrier between him and the actual sun, where he is still able to enjoy the warmness but doesn’t need to worry about if it’ll dehydrate or burn him too terribly bad.

Remote, because Carter knows what’s up.

Call someone to fix it because he’s not about to risk fucking that up and flooding his kitchen.

Simple yet elegant. High-quality white card stock, with his and Sebastian’s names written in silver lettering. Carter prefers to hand-address the envelopes though, which is made simple by the fact that their guest list is pretty intimate.
☃ What they wear around the house
At home, Carter wears things that are loose and comfortable, usually very warm as his body tends to run cold. He grows to become particularly fond of Sebastian’s clothes.
♨ Their cooking ability (or lack thereof)
Carter is a rather good cook, though he really only makes meals when it’s for other people. He isn’t about to make a career out of it, but he likes to think that his cooking ability is above average, and he enjoys assisting his friends and family in the kitchen as he grows more secure in himself to learn more.

He doesn’t mind them, but if he was bored, he wouldn’t automatically hop up to find a board game to entertain himself. He’s fairly good at games that test knowledge or memory, but things that are pretty much based on luck bore him endlessly.

Carter thrives best in environments that are free of any mess or clutter. He isn’t necessarily a clean freak, but if there’s too much in one space, it tends to distract him.

Clean and bright. Large windows that allow in plenty of natural light. Lots of greys and whites, with the occasional spot of blue here and there for a splash of color. Black-painted wood furniture and large, comfortable couches and chairs. Photos of his friends-turned-family detailing the life he’s managed to create with them. A black baby-grand piano in the corner of the living room. Music constantly playing.
♘ Any pets they might have
None on his own, but he quickly adopts Sebastian’s ever sassy pup Mai, who he spoils unrelentingly with petting, toys, and the occasional extra treat.
It depends on what that day has entailed, but generally Carter prefers to be asleep by 1am at the latest. Sleep is something that he occasionally struggles with, so he tries to get a reasonable amount of it when he can.

Of course. Carter much prefers to keep everything as up to date cleaning-wise as possible.
☆ How they’d throw parties (what would go on at them, refreshments, etc)
More than likely, he wouldn’t. The only sort of party he would arrange would be after-parties for his boyfriend-turned husband, to celebrate some of his many accomplishments rather it be the premiere of a new score or a concert performance, and those are very much high-end — not necessarily black tie events, but Carter would make sure that there would be nothing short of the class Sebastian is deserving of.
✓ What a typical Tuesday night looks like
Nothing extravagant; most nights, Carter likes to get in a good amount of rehearsing (almost always with Sebastian). After he feels like he’s done as much as he’s able to for the evening, he’ll head back home and have dinner with Sebastian before settling in to do any other non-music related homework or tasks that need to be done. Afterwards, he does like to unwind, sometimes with a movie, sometimes with a nice warm shower, sometimes just by curling up on the couch with Sebastian until one of them decides its time to move to bed and tugs the other along.
