Pretty much any cooking I've done recently has been inspired by The Pig and The Fig, a food blog written by Michelle DeHaven. Her site is the perfect balance of healthy, whole-food cooking (like the kale salad, above) with a dash of luxury (cheesecake!)
Aside from the fact that her site is beautiful and her writing is conversational and lovely, the recipes themselves do not disappoint! I've tried the Summer Rolls and the Lettuce Wraps (in this heat wave, those dishes really hit the spot). I've also made the Roast Pork with Blackberry Sauce, which was so good that it cemented my status as best girlfriend ever.
Enjoy the kitchen inspiration, and have a great, delicious weekend!
