"Uh, hi, Ty Lee."

what thing?
//I dunno what it is but it's been used on me a couple times and i've seen other people talking about it or something and like rktgjrtg i dunno i guess it's cool if people can find out who an anon is who hated on them, but in general? like, that totally takes the anonymity away from "I'm here for my followers" and "Come talk to me"
I dunno. I'm just krtgbngtr this may not even be a thing and I may just be imagining it.
You should get her fire lilies or those little roses sold in the market. Or maybe even both! But those are the ones she likes. But I think fire lilies would be real nice because they'll remind her of you. She can put it in a book and save it, too, for while she's in the South Pole!
Little roses?- “Er…rose blossoms?” Zuko questioned, his mind still stuck on the first part of what Ty Lee had said, even though he should be rather furious she had taken initiative and helped him without his consent. A part of him was grateful, he would’ve been rather lost and awkward while attempting to gather such information. Perhaps he could get her some fire lilies, or even those ‘little roses’ she had spotted in the market, from what he inferred.
“Uh…alright. I didn’t need any help, though.” He added quickly, his brow furrowing slightly to add to the conviction of his words. “But…thank you, Ty Lee.”
I'm a girl. I know how to find out without her suspecting.
“I don’t need any help.” He should know what her favorite flower was by now, right? That was something boyfriends did…something they knew. While aid from Ty Lee would be beneficial, and a part of him wanted to ask for help, the more dominant side of Zuko forced himself to understand that he didn’t need it - Katara was his girlfriend, so he could do this.
Do you want me to ask her?
“Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of making it a surprise, though?” Zuko had never been one for surprises - he never liked being given them and wasn’t very good at giving one, in return. However, he figured he could keep flowers a secret until Katara’s actual departure. It couldn’t be that difficult.
Then again, he had never been like Azula; his lying skills weren’t top notch.
It's not law, but if it makes her feel special, then you should do it!
“Then…uh…what kinda of flowers do you think I should get her? You’re a girl…right?” Agni-dammit, Zuko! That wasn’t a question! Of course Ty Lee was a girl. Groaning at his stupidity, his fingers quickly found the bridge of his nose in attempt to recuperate. “What I mean is…what do you think she’d like?”
You're supposed to make her feel special!
“So she’s expecting me to buy her flowers?” He inquired, knowing that one of the fundamentals of being in a relationship was making the other feel special, but he certainly hadn’t expected there be a required parting gift.
