The lovely @princesscarriefisher tagged me to post my nine photos of 2017!

I’ve had so many amazing experiences this year, but I’ve also been through some of the most difficult and scary moments of my life. So I wanted to share some photos of just me as a kind of reminder to myself about how much I’ve grown this year, and how I’ve come through all the bad stuff and I’m still smiling!

so the loveliest @coffeehazza @floralfeast @studyinpink tagged me/the gc to post my favourite selfies from 2017/nine selfies of 2017 soooo here goes!

honestly? it was hard. i was far from happy with myself this year. i gained weight, stopped putting effort into the way i look and i just… wasn’t happy. but you know what? it’s okay. because these pictures remind me of good times.

the first picture was taken during the summer, which was a good season overall. the second was taken by my best friend who makes me laugh so hard all the time. the third picture was taken at my first pride ever, which i celebrated with some of the best people ever (peep the harry pin!!!). the others were taken before, on or after really good days, and i’m so thankful for all the memories from the past year. i’ve grown and changed as a person and i’d like to think most of that is in a good way.

from meeting new people, growing closer to others, coming out to all of my important real life friends, finding an amazing internship where i arrive and leave in the best mood every single day, seeing my favourite boy harry live twice, seeing my favourite little mix girls and a handful of other favourite artists live, spending days with friends, to getting it confirmed that i’ll be moving to finland next year, and many more… this year really gave me some beautiful things to remember.
