   Artemis was walking to meet with her parents at the pavilion for lunch when she saw the wave of purple and black smoke rising in the sky. Her horse trotted carefully down the path, the princess having to be very careful nowadays. 

   Emerging from the trees, she wrapped herself tight in her cloak and got off the horse. Thunder crashed around her in the air as she neared the pavilion, coming to stand beside her parents. The small family stared up at the thought to be storm before her father called out that it was magic and they fell back in retreat. The horses were frightened and ran off. 

   Peering through the smoke, she froze. Her parents checked her over, asking if she was alright but she stared ahead. They turned as well and saw the field filled with former residents of the Enchanted Forest. After the small exchange between Snow and Aurora, Artemis was the first to step down from the small shelter and advanced towards the group. In search of one person, him.

wow. i totally forgot about his real name. i like your idea, so i'll just do that instead of changing his name. not like anyone will know about him because the curse is technically before neverland.
