The Prince of Heart (The unedited, redone first chapter)
The Prince Of Heart. By. Jared Lauridsen Chapter One Pink “Come in!, come in! Let me tell you a tale of wonder and ahh, about some kids that played a game!” A man with a green shirt says on tv, “That looks like a cool game!”, I say excitedly. I was sitting in my room watching television. My name is Jared. This is a tale of how me and my friends destroy,build and create life as we know it. In my room, you can see a flat screen tv, A computer with 3 monitors,a black rug and some posters of the the things I like to play online/watch. I loved talking to my friends and reading and playing video games. I code a lot and loved gothic literature when I’m not with my friends. Today i’m wearing my favorite green shirt and jean pants and my hair is combed up in the front just like usual.I walk around my dimly lit room and plunder how far I have come. I am 17 and a lot of things have happened to me in this life so far, in school I have been called a freak for skipping two grades and not going to college and every one in that school hates me for having a bountiful pile of money left behind be my mom and dad. I look at me now and ask what am I doing, I know my family stocks are up right now and I should sell them, but I can get rid of what my family has worked for for centuries! In my family well… When I still had parents and a sister and brother, it was always money money! Money!. This was a lauridsen way they said, I never liked that way. I start to play computer games to take my mind off everything until see a blinking light blink on my computer, it’s my good friend Alejandro trying to contact me! He always makes me happy when I am sad. Even when he always ends his texts with emojis. Me and Alejandro talk every day without stop. I met him in real life at a video game convention that I put some of my money into sponsoring, from there, we became real friends, he never asked about my money or grades only about my life and what games coming out. I recently got him a gig voice acting for a game I coded, I know it’s a small gig but it will help him with money, I sometimes wish I could have the same worries. I start to text him on my computer, using the third screen to talk to him. “ Sup dude. Guess what?” I happily say to him “Wait before you go off about some journey and or random ass adventure u had on the Internet, have u herd from magic? She hasn’t been answering me and I’m worried ◕‸◕” Alejandro replays hastily. I look at this message and think back to yesterday to when I was talking to her. Magic is a girl that I met over the internet and she know everything. I’m not even kidding. I asked her so many questions about myself and somehow even though i have never told her she knows it’s weird. I start to text Ale again “Well I talked to her yesterday about a game I helped make,apparently she is working on the game too with some wired guy/girl we don’t know” I said back to him ominously. “She has been busy about that game I don’t know wha…” Like I hit a brick wall ,my train of thought stops. It’s hard to breath, I try to but I can’t, I fall over and black out. I wake up to a girl, on my lips. Never before have I been kissed, why now? And yet a better question, where am I? I brake from the kiss. I cough as I pull away, I look at the girl, she has pink hair , green eyes, and Snow like skin, If ulook at snow the has the sun on it, It’s that white. She was wearing a dress a pink and black dress, and on her back two Katanas. As I see her I also notice this new world, The world was weird, it was bright and the sky was bright pink and the ground was a mixture a green’s , I could see water falls infinitely falling from the heavens, and rocks flying above defying everything i know about logic. The girl speaks “soooooo… how was it?” She said smiling. Her voice was high pitched but soft and cute. Dazed and confused I answered “ Umm what? Are u talking about how u sexually assaulted me?” I say madly, as i was trying to recover from what just happened a taste in my mouth forms it is a familiar taste. The girl in pink speaks again to add to her earlier statement “No I was saving you from boredom, but we don’t have long, so answer me, how was it?” She said all of this in a sweet and innocent voice. Never being kissed before I had no idea what to say “Um it was good…"I say shyly. "That was my first time ever kissing a girl” I added. The girl speaks again “that was mine two!” The girl said happily, “I was told that you like the taste of Strawberries, sooooooo I decided to buy a remedy to make my lips taste like a strawBerry. Would you like to taste again?” She says this while moving closer to me and outing her hand on my hand. I automatically go red in the face “ ARE YOU CRAZY, I don’t Even know you! yet you want to kiss me again….” But as I say this, her eyes grow into green ocean’s . She starts to cry right in front of me. “Was I that bad? Was I not good enough for you?” She says sobbing and sniffling. I couldn’t believe my eyes a girl crying because of me, I had to fix this. “Don’t cry please, I’ll do anything! I hate it when girls cry!” As I say this she moves inches towards my face. “Anything?” She adds. “Um yes anything! and make it fast!” I scuffed at her. She attacks upon me saying this, she engulfs me in a kiss and quickly pulls away. “It does taste like strawberry” I say to her nervous/happily. As I say this I start to black out. As I blackout I see her smiling and heard her say “night night sweet prince of blood and heart your damsel is waiting.” I wake up to my computer looking at me, I look at my computer to find that the girl Magic hacked my camera and was watching me, that girl good at everything!. I look at my computer and all the lights are flashing like a Christmas tree! My friends are worried. I start to text magic “Magic what the fuge happend to me and how did I kiss a girl and and…” I go on for five more minutes asking questions, I’m going to save you from reading all that. Magic writes back “~she was from the game Jared~.” “How? And why? just answer me!”I said angrily. “~so how was your kiss? Strawberry right?~.”she writes. I write back amazed “how do you know about that?.” I said feverishly. “~I know a lot about you jared~”she writes almost immediately. “~her screen name is pink and she is the first one to be taken by the game~” End of chapter One
