Fic Summary: With the craziness of Heartslabyul and Riddle’s overbearing temper finally settled, Lizzie and Addie can almost say they’ve adapted to this strange, new world. They attend classes, get to know their new friends, and try to figure out how to get back home.

As the Inter-Rose Queendom Spelldrive Tournament approaches, players and bystanders alike start getting hurt under mysterious, and downright suspicious, circumstances. But it isn’t until Trey is injured and Riddle pulls them, along with a few others, into the investigation that they find themselves right in the middle of the chaos once again.

Things are far more complicated than they first appear, and it’ll take all of them working together to stop the culprit once and for all.

i love "cleave". you said in your author notes that it was the kind of fic that went through many, many edits and i felt that in some moments, but not in a bad way at all! i felt it in the way that those style/mood shifts reflected idia's inner turmoil and agony.

i haven't written prose in a veeery long time and i'm telling you the truth when i say that your fic gave me a clear idea of what a great piece should look like!

also your idia pfp makes me think he wrote it himself as part of the healing process, lmao. looking forward to your next twst work!!

Please don't mind me, this ask is going to make me wibbly-cry a bit. It has made my entire day and evening that you appreciated the edits and those changes as emotional and tonal shifts to the fic! I'm probably a little too close to have seen it for that, given I've stared at it for months now, but your perspective has honestly made me feel more validated in my work to edit "Cleave" as much as possible!

Also I am definitely going to wibbly-cry at your compliments. 😭 Writing is one of my greatest passions, and this was a fic I really did try to pour my best efforts into, because I love Idia and Ortho, and when a tragedy like theirs hits me as deep as it does, it feels only fitting to try to share the full extent of how it makes me feel in my writing.

Fic Summary:
