How do you even create your own server, I want to cry. I tried Hamachi and it worked for ten seconds and then crashed. My friend and I were so frustrated. I would appreciate your help. Thanks :)

Well actually it was 10x easier this time than it was my first time. 

I will post this publicly just in case anyone else was curious how to do this as well 

Tutorial under Read More because it's hella long

You download Hamachi (lol I'm sure you already have) and press the power button to get your ip address set up. 

next in Hamachi click network> create new network> and put in a username and password. you will give these to your friends who also have Hamachi so they can find your network and sign onto it. 

Next you go to the minecraft site and Download the minecraft_server.1.8.exe

save to desktop and make a new folder placing the minecraft_server.1.8.exe inside. next double click on it and it should run through some processes and you'll see some things pop up inside os the folder. 

One of these things is a text document named eula. open it and change false to true and run the minecraft_server.1.8.exe one more time. more things will pop up in your folder and you can close out of it. (leave the folder up) 

In Hamachi right click on the number next to the power button and click copy IPv4 adress

Next find a text file named Server and scroll through till you find where it says server-ip= after the = paste what you copied from Hamachi. Click save and then close out of the text document. 

next double click on the minecraft_server.1.8.exe and let it run.

Open minecraft (make sure you are updated to the latest game) and go to multiplayer > add server> and type in the numbers next to your power button on your Hamachi and join! 

Remember to leave the minecraft_server.1.8.exe running while you play or the server will close!
