Kind of? It was a toy that would interact with you like a furby but it was a silver and red robot with an emoting screen for a face

36. “Can we get a cat?”

You’d been begging Bucky for a cat for weeks and weeks, maybe even months at this point. His answer had always been ‘we can’t, (y/n); the landlord doesn’t allow pets,’ but it had gotten to the point where Bucky was almost ready to say ‘yes’ if it would make you stop pestering.

“Can we get a cat?” You asked as you helped Bucky make dinner, “I know, I know, the landlord said but... he wouldn’t have to know...”

Bucky eyed you suspiciously, “What have you done?”

You shook your head, “Nothing...”

“You got a cat, didn’t you?”

“I-I couldn’t help it, Buck! I went to the pet store after work and I-I couldn’t help it!”
