“Gojira & Mosura: Long live the King. Long live the Queen.” 🤴🏼👸🏼🦖🦋 - “Behind every great man, there’s a great woman.” is as the old saying goes... the same can definitely be said about #TheKingOfTheMonsters Gojira a.k.a. #Godzilla & #TheQueenOfTheMonsters Mosura a.k.a. #Mothra 💘 When watching (and later reviewing) Michael Dougherty’s “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” (2019), one of the BEST highlights of the film was Mosura’s introduction and the fact that she didn’t really behave hostile, at least not in a malicious way, towards the soldiers/scientists who were holding her for study in a #Monarch research facility, where Mosura’s nest was situated, and instead behaved defensively when she felt threatened, tossing a few of the soldiers against her spider-like web, clearly emphasizing her purpose to PROVIDE LIFE and like her King, Gojira, maintain the balance of the world, which includes exterminating other #Titans that are a threat to it and the world’s population. 🌎 When faced with the false king, Kingu Gidora a.k.a. #KingGhidorah and nearly defeated by his arch-nemesis, Gojira was aided by his Queen, Mosura, who not only provided him with life but stood her ground, took flight, and charged towards the far more powerful Kingu Gidora, which ultimately led to her tragic and heartbreaking demise... 😔💔 Given enough time to recover, thanks greatly to the fallen Mosura and Humanity themselves, Gojira gathered what strength he had left and defeated the #Yin to his #Yang Kingu Gidora, burning him asunder, thus standing tall as the ONE TRUE and UNDISPUTED King of the Monsters! 😁👊🏻 Whatever’s to come for Gojira in his much anticipated confrontation with #KingKong🦍 in Adam Wingard’s upcoming 2020 film, “Godzilla vs. Kong”, which yours truly is DYING TO SEE (believe me I f**king am!!!), it would’ve been so great to see more of #GojiraAndMosura but not every love tales, or couples rather, receive a happy ending... that’s quite clear.
