Nah man, not going to a funeral is not selfish. Some people just can’t handle them. (My sister is one of them. She never goes to funerals because she gets overwhelmed and would rather do her mourning in private)

I can handle funerals, for the most part (I guess because it's for a child, it's a particularly tough one), but I'm prioritising my health and my stupid year twelve formal because I'm horrible an god this poor family
