Rule 1: Always post the rules. Rule 2: Answer the questions the person who tagged you asked and write 11 new ones. Rule 3: Tag 11 people and link them to the post. Rule 4: Actually tell them you tagged them.
———————————————————————————————
1. Favorite swear word?
According to friends and family, cunt.
2. To be or not to be?
That's a really vague question. To be what exactly? Dead? Nah, I'll pass. To not be attacked by vicious cougars? Yes, I'd love to abstain from that. I don't do vague questions.
3. Favorite quote?
"Be the change you want to see in the world" - Gandhi (almost makes up for molesting his granddaughter)
4. If you truly found the fountain of youth, would you drink from it?
I'd drink from it, without a doubt. There's so much to experience in life and so little time to experience it.
5. If you could have been born and raised in any country in the world, which country would it be and why?
I'm feeling one of the Baltic countries, since they're hella liberal and all about different forms of learning etc.
6. Nevermind if it is realistic or not, what is your dream profession?
My dream is to be in a band and write and/or cover music whenever I fucking want to. No. Pressure. Dammit Brayden.
7. Its been said that the top is a lonely place. Would you choose to be a super genius?
Yes, I'd take it. Combined with the fountain of youth answer, I feel the advances I could make for society is a great reward that would only cost loneliness. Even if I only had a mortal lifespan, hopefully I'd be able to better the world with my genius. Nikolai Tesla never got laid--look what he did for us all?
8. Would you choose to know exactly when you are going to die?
I don't do guessing games--I'd love to know when I'm going to die. I'd prepare for the occasion--not to prevent it, just to be able to come to terms with my own mortality.
9. What sets your heart on fire?
Barring the obvious Taco Bell answers, whatever I'm moved by. Music and the arts invigorate me more than just a hobby or source of amusement could. Even beyond my precious lil' Cecil and family.
10. What do you love most about people?
I love what makes a person a person--what makes them tick, from the big things to the minute details that make up their psyche. People are fascinating--honestly I could spend hours just trying to figure out what makes someone tick. Call me strange, but I really do love the intricacy and beauty of the mind.
11. What single word holds the most power for you personally?
Love. More than just the classical denotation of the word, but the many forms of love in all its beautiful and ugly hues. I guess relationships between people would apply here more so, but love is a tad more poetic and I fancy myself a Romantic.
My 11 questions for you!
1) What is something you regret?
All the times I've given up on myself and others.
2) What do you think is your best personality trait?
My willingness to accept people as they are.
3) Physically, what do you love about yourself?
Well, my ass is pretty nice. Hahaha, in all sincerity, probably my eyes. I've great eyes. They like change colour too it's so cool!!
4) Who is a person in your life that means a lot to you?
At the present time or someone who's just been hugely influential? If the latter, then probably you. I don't mean that in a romantic way or anything like that, but like I can't not mention you in the formation of who I am today. You've really influenced what and who I value. At the present, though, probably my friend James. We've got one hell of a Bromance and his lack of complication really helps me with my surplus of it. He's a great dude and I appreciate him being my first friend at a new school.
5) What do you value most?
Lack of judgment. When someone will treat another with basic dignity and respect no matter what walk of life they come from. When someone treats another as a human being, I gain so much respect for him or her. Solidarity, I'd say, if I was Catholic.
6) What are you looking forward to?
Is that even a question? COLLEGEEEEEEEEEE!?!?!?#E!@#RFAFJS DLFAJSDKLF ASD
7) In 10 years, where would you like to be in life?
Hopefully a few years post-PsyD, setting up a private practice or something like that. I just want to be comfortably in a job I enjoy and be able to spend free time with people I love.
8) What is something that bothers you?
Gum that loses the flavor too quickly. Like goddamn how old is gum? Seriously! You think they'd make the flavour last by now. Of course they wouldn't, since then people would never move on to the next few pieces. Packs would last forever and that's less money for corporations. Fucking greedy bastards.
9) How do you cope with someone you cannot stand?
Honestly, that's something I'm still working on. At first it was just awkward denial of their existence--not really talking to them, etc. But there are a lot of obnoxious people out there, and I think I just need to learn not to treat them differently for being obnoxious. I'm sure I'm obnoxious to a lot of people, but they still treat me like a person. I wouldn't say I'm hypocritical in this case, I don't belittle the people I dislike, I just try to avoid them. Which is fine--really. I guess letting myself interact with them when I need to would be far radder, though.
10) If you knew that you would inevitably die in 1 hour, what would you do?
Call whom I love and say my goodbyes as quickly as I possibly could (yet making sure it still held meaning!), and then get a little buzzed and play piano till I keel over. This is best explained in the next question.
11) Think of something that makes you smile. What are you thinking about?
Maybe I'm thinking from the last question, but the first thing that made me smile was playing piano while a little buzzed. Not enough where the keys go through a racial identity crisis, but just enough to relax and not really think about anything other than piano. I don't condone alcohol consumption, but some things in life just are a little bit better buzzed. Like playing piano. It's honestly my favorite thing to do.
