a certain hatred | Ned & Cersei
Wildfire orbs caught sight of the hand of the king. The adrenaline that built up inside of her when she saw him— Lyanna’s brother. For all the bad memories of her first night with Robert would return when she saw Eddard; she would like nothing better than to have his head. Of course these notions were completely ridiculous as she could not commit such an act without good reason. Otherwise Robert would have her own head while avenging his trusted friend. He had not yet seen her and this gave her a distinct advantage. Lifting the train of her gown between thumb and forefinger, Cersei approached him as gracefully as a lioness should devour her prey.
"Lord Stark." Greeted she coldly; glacial features straining a small- overly forced, smile. "Shall the great hand of the king take a walk with the Queen? She should be very grateful if he were to accept."

☂ - Our muses are stuck inside because of a storm.
(rose in the north!verse)
Lightning flashed against the sky as Margaery looked out the window of Winterfell keep. The keep was almost empty for once, save for her, Jon, Theon, and Eddard Stark. The Rose stuck a hand out catching a few heavy drops on it. “It’s a terrible storm, Lord Stark.” She said softly. “No riding will be done today it seems. Would you like my help at all today?” She tilted her head as she placed her hands infront of her lightly. If she was going to one day marry his son…she had to learn all she could about Winterfell, what better way than from Lord Stark himself.
— —♞ Ned watched the young woman carefully, taking in the quiet and graceful way she moved and talked. Truthfully, the storm wasn’t that bad, but he didn’t comment. She hadn’t been in the North very long and he knew the climate was very different here from the mild weather of Highgarden. “No, we won’t ride out in this,” he confirmed, knowing that the lighting and thunder would only serve to spook the horses and they would all get drenched for no reason. “Honestly, you would learn more from my lady wife than from me,” he said bluntly. “But I wouldn’t mind you accompanying me, if you really want to.”
Margaery smiled softly as she smoothed out her skirts gently and watched the rain fall though the window. The North was much colder than what she was used to. She brushed her curls back gently a gentle smile. "I would like to. I will happily learn all I can from you lady wife, when she returns, until then it is nice to learn from who ever can help me understand The North."

The throne had been claimed for Robert Baratheon.
The exhaustion was beginning to set in, it was a day Tywin Lannister would desperately want to be over. He looked at the woman and her children. Potential usurpers to the throne's new claim. A family that had slighted him, shamed the Lannister name when they said Cersei was too lowborn to be wed to the prince. That she was the daughter of a servant. A slight not soon forgotten and a Lannister always pays their debts.
So they were killed to satisfy all manner of needs.
The children were wrapped in Lannister banners to save the king the sight of the gore, surely he would have seen enough of that today. They were laid before the throne.
"A token of fealty, your grace." a new title for Robert. Tywin supposed he would have to be used to saying it. Robert seemed caught up in things, he expressed his gratitude to Tywin and the house Lannister, but the bodies seem to have caught the attention of another.

"You had better have a damn good reason for disturbing me," Regina sneered at one of her queen’s guard, all clad in black and chain mail, the man had burst into her chambers while she was busying herself with the Huntsman, her newest pet. He had yet to live up to his potential, but she had hope for him yet. The guard had assured her, however, that the matter was of great urgency - and so she used her magic to dress herself in a fine gown, and left her little huntsman chained to the bed, left to wait until she returned to him.
Along the way she had been informed as to how a strange man - one unknown by anyone in her guard - had been apprehended within the palace walls. Not he nor any of her guards could explain how the man could have gotten in, nor why they had let him live at all. He had apparently been in the throne room, wandering and bewildered when had been seized and taken to a cell. Granted the cells in this castle were much more accommodating than some, spacious, clean, and dry -- still, it was likely the man would not feel very welcome there.
After reprimanding the guard by taking his heart and crushing it before his eyes, the queen dusted her hands off, glad to be rid of the fool, and carried herself to the cell block. Opening the door to the cell with a wave of her hand, she stepped in, posture rigid, eyes dark and wild, and figure imposing in an extravagant black dress with a high collar and pluming skirts.
Fixing her gaze on the man, her glower darkened and her head tilted. For the moment she was clam - calculating at worst - though when she spoke her voice held a sugary venom that dripped from every word. “My guards tell me that you somehow managed to slip past all of our defenses - " she paced the room, circling the man as a predator might. Her eyes seemed to pick him apart piece by piece, sizing him up, and consequently failing to see anything extraordinarily about him. "I do not take kindly to uninvited guests. Perhaps you wish to enlighten me as to just why you are here, hm?"
