“But I mean it.” Uryuu stepped a bit closer. “Kurosaki… please, listen. Why would I come here? Why would I I look for you if I didn’t need you? We all need you. You mean a lot to us. You can’t… just isolate himself like this…”
He looked at his friend with worry. Ichigo changed. Very so. He merely looked like a shadow of his former self.
That hurt. Because it was Ichigo who never gave up and always found a power to get going, some crazy way to win. But now… his eyes were empty. Uryuu desperately wanted to change that. Could he? He spend so much time looking for Ichigo, but now he could only mumbling some not very convincing things. It was always hard for him to talk about feelings. Uryuu adjusted his glasses nervously. He still wasn’t going to give up on Kurosaki. Because he meant a whole world to him.
When the other stepped closer, the Anomaly shied away. He didn’t want to hurt anyone, not like before. He looked away, and was silent. Running a hand over his hair, he rubbed the back of his neck.
He had changed a lot since his transformation to Vasto Lorde. His emotions were mixed up. Everything he knew about being human was shattered once he found he was a mixed breed- an anomaly.
“I’m not worth it. I’m a monster.” He hated himself for what he was, not human, quincy, or soul reaper.
