Who is Yarrow and why are you and @ship-of-skitties putting them through the horrors lmao
Yarrow is a character of mine! :D He's a young 11-year old boy who was bullied for most of his life because he looks somewhat girly. He's also painfully shy, so he doesn't have any friends- until recently, that is!! He is now besties with two other kids- Mari and Zinnia- who are teaching him how to get out of his shell and love himself. Sounds like a happy ending, right?
BZZT!!! WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!
You see, the whole point of Yarrow is that I was inspired by my friend, @neoncityrain's, character, Polaris- Polaris has a really neat thing about him, that being that he ages in real time (every year they ages a year)! I wanted to do something like that as well- but with a twist.
It's still Yarrow's first year of creation, so I'm not doing anything yet because I want him to have one year of happiness with his friends (and so I have time to flesh everything out), but THE MOMENCE THIS LITTLE SCRUNGIE TURNS TWELVE, HE IS GOING TO BE THROWN INTO A TIME LOOK >:D The time loop is about a year long, starts on Yarrow's b-day (June 3rd), and not only is Yarrow the only one who remembers anything the past year, but the only one who ages. Unfortunately, his friends don't remember him and aren't friends with him at this point in time!
SO, HE BASICALLY HAS TO TRY TO GET HIS FRIENDS BACK, WITH A STEADILY INCREASING AGE GAP. AND AS YEARS GO ON, WITH THE FRIENDSHIP RESETTING EVERY YEAR, IS IT EVEN WORTH TRYING TO GET THEM BACK? IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE? IS YARROW EVEN THE SAME PERSON HIS FRIENDS KNEW AND LIKED BACK THEN??? WILL HE EVER ESCAPE THE LOOP? WHAT'S THE POINT OF MAKING AND FRIENDS AND BEING AROUND OTHERS AND DOING GOOD IF IT DOESN'T MATTER-
