Alright I'm bad at Tumblring (is that even a verb), so um here goes...
Rules:
1) Always post the rules.
2) Answer the questions from the person who tagged you and then write 11 new ones.
3) Tag 11 people and link them to the post.
4) Actually tell them you tagged them.
I'm gonna take initiative here and say that it's up to you whether or not you do these, 'cause hey man, it's a free country and such...alright, on to the questions. Poetmaybe (A.K.A. the best person) sent me this. 1. If you could meet any famous person, who would it be and why? I would probably choose either one of my literary heroes, such as David Levithan, because getting inspiration from someone who made it as a writer would actually be incredible, or I would choose Adam Young because I love the way his music makes his mind seem to work, and I would love to know how he manages to productively deal with insomnia.
2. What was the longest day of your life? Probably the first time I went to Anime Boston. Am I doing this wrong? Is it supposed to be in like a bad way? Whatever. That day lasted forever, and I was thoroughly pleased with that. Since I could only go for a day, we were there for about 13 hours, and I got to experience all of this life and creativity and truly unique, geeky people, and it was something I had never experienced before.
3. If you had the chance to go skydiving, all expenses paid, would you do it? What about scuba diving? Abso-friggin'-lutely. I have developed and gotten over a fear of heights several times in the past, so I have no idea how I would handle skydiving, but I would leap at the chance of any all-expenses-paid adventure. Scuba diving sounds cool too, but I would probably get hypothermia or get eaten by a crab or die of the bends or something since nature and I don't really get along.
4. If you could see any band (from any era) perform live, which would you choose and why? If I could actually hear them, and pay attention to how they played and acted on-stage? I would pick the Beatles. The chance to see them at the cavern club, or at a small venue pre-Hard Day's Night stage would be incredible. They had incredible charisma, were quite talented at music, and were incredibly personable, as well. (I say incredible a lot, huh?)
5. Do you believe in psychic readings? Mediums? GhOsTs? I've never had any experiences that would lead me to believe in them, but I suppose I have the same hopeful kind of belief in the occult that I have in regards to fantastical/fictional worlds. I never really lost the childish wish that something stranger than our existence was out there, and If given the chance, I would gladly take the gamble of it being hostile and/or spooky. 6. What’s the scariest movie you’ve ever seen? Oh goodness...let's see...I never watch scary movies. Ah...one time when I was at a sleepover when I was younger, some people put on The Ring? God, that scared the hell out of me...
7. Do you play an instrument? Which one? Why/how did you get started? I play the drums right now, but I played the piano for 15 years, the harmonica for three, and I have been known to play a bitchin' recorder, back in my elementary school days.
8. What’s the next event on/in your calendar? WORKKKKKK *shakes fist* but yeah, I have a shift in a couple of days. I'm boring.
9. What’s currently on your copy/paste clipboard? (i.e., hit CTRL+V and put it here) *accidentally pastes question rules, and goes to search for the previous thing copied before said rules* http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/paramore/brickbyboringbrick.html. I was sending this to sajisevi-san-chan in order to get him to listen to Paramore with me. Paramore is good.
10. If you got a thousand dollars from your grandparents for Hanukkah *cough* would you/what would you spend it on? *cough* I'll just temporarily celebrate Hanukkah for the purposes of this question *cough* that is a difficult question! I would probably save it to assist with plane tickets and living expenses for my trip to JAPAN THIS SUMMER WHICH I'M TOTALLY NOT EXCITED FOR IN THE SLIGHTEST, but other than that, the only thing I can think of would be perhaps a quality road bike, for use around the city in college? The only bike I have right now has about as many years on it as it has gears, so I'm hoping to replace it before college.
Alright, time for my questions! *grins menacingly*
1. You have to pick a crest to represent you, sort of like a medieval knight. You have to have this crest somewhere on your clothing or person at all times, and it will be seen by everyone, wherever you go. It's like a physical representation of yourself, the artistic equivalent of a name. What does your crest look like?
2. Suddenly, through some sort of time paradox (obviously a plot device, what was the author thinking), you're allowed to pick one day in your past that you can revisit and relive as many times as you want. You decide that you want to experience that day again, in full, and you do. What day would you choose, and what happened?
3. MUSIC AAAAH If you had to pick a song that you thought represented the most of your character, your life, and you as a person/entity, what would it be? (tough question, I know)
4. What was the last thing you bought for yourself?
5. What was the last thing you bought for someone else?
6. What medium are you the most capable of expressing yourself in, and why do you feel so comfortable using it? (Everybody's got one, I don't know a single person I wouldn't consider incredibly talented in some way or another)
7. You're given the chance to live somebody else's life for one day, Freaky Friday-style. You don't know anything about how they would live their life that day, so you've gotta figure it out yourself, but you can choose anyone, people you know personally or celebrities, doesn't matter.
8. What would you want to do with your life if you weren't afraid?
9. What's your favorite movie? (Yes I know this is a nigh-impossible question, and I'm just asking it to be diabolical)
10. TELL US A SECRET, NO ONE WILL KNOW...I suppose I should phrase this as a question...what's something about yourself that you wouldn't usually tell people? Up to you how you want to answer this one, I understand some people are more comfortable than others.
Alright, I have no friendsssss let's see here Poetmaybe, sajisevi-san-chan (yes, I will continue to refer to you as such), eightshadesofblue, theradone (again, up to you), hylian-melody, citylightsandcitypeople, 0dancingphalanges0 this isn't eleven but I hope somehow y'all will find it somewhere in your hearts forgive me
