Something was touching her. No, someone was touching her, and that didn’t happen to bother her. Instead the issue was the fact the blanket she had used to cover her face from the sun earlier was gone, so in replacement Verin brought her hand up to cover the side of her face. 

There had been sporadic moments when she had awoken for a mere moment through out the morning, but it wasn’t till now that her blue eyes squintedly scanned over the other’s features. He seemed to be both thoroughly confused and shocked. That was an odd expression to be greeted with when just waking up, but she really didn’t spend much time thinking on it. 

Pushing herself up the slightest, she had yet to say a single word as she took time to take everything in. Eyes scanned lazily around the room and it didn’t take too long to figure out that it was her room they had ended up in. At least it meant it would be easy to find something to wear. 

But with that figured out she finally set her eyes on him again. Fuck, she couldn’t remember his name, but she doubted he remembered hers. 

“--Are you gonna explain that look on your face or not?”
