Not only is it Women’s History Month but today is Harriet Tubman Day.

After escaping slavery herself, Harriet Tubman spent eleven years rescuing hundreds of enslaved people.

It took nineteen trips but she was never captured, and she never lost a single person.

Most of us can’t imagine fleeing for our lives and freedom, let alone then risking that freedom to go back and do the same for others.

However, we all have the opportunity to be brave and to do the right thing.

Did you know that The Loveland Foundation was established by Rachel in 2018 as the result of her birthday fundraiser?

The fundraiser made it possible to provide over 600 hours of therapy sessions or free to its first cohort of Black women and girls.

Since then they have provided over 20,000 hours in therapy across the United States.

What better way to celebrate International Women’s Day than by helping women and girls work to afford the therapy they need to enable them to live authentically?

World Spay Day, am I right?

Have you been spayed or neutered? What helped you get through the recovery? ⤵️

Save this post for the following tips from me and my frens:

➡️ Get a @suitical. This was clutch in my recovery as I sleep like a bagel so this donut just wasn’t practical for long.

➡️ Buy brand new chews and interactive toys that don’t require significant movement. This was the first time I had @mybenebone and it helped!

➡️ Know that your pup will be likely not be themselves in the beginning but they will bounce back. I was very sensitive for the first 36 hours and my human had to gently picky me up in a blanket while I growled at her for doing so.
