“You’re not from around here, are you?” Cadmus asked, looking over at her. Nothing in particular about their conversation had given that fact away, but more or less, he’d managed to sense it. “Like Earth. You’re from somewhere else? Somewhere I’ve never been, I think.”

"What? Oh uh, thank you." Theo glances up from the computer with a confused look before letting it morph into a smile at the kindness being offered to him. He reaches out to grab the offered water bottle and takes a couple sips before speaking again. "I really appreciate this, thank you. It's been hard to get some time to grab water today."

"Do you know much about...people? You know, humans. I think I love them more than anything else.” A slight smile touched Cadmus’ lips as he looked at his new friend. He’d heard a lot of bad things about humans, but something about them intrigued the godling. They seemed much more sincere than anything else he’d created. Though, that could’ve come from their mortality rate.
