My name is Karl and I am an everyday guy from Germany. In this blog I will try to give you my sincere opinion about a health device I bought six months ago called Therasnore. The reason I made this small blog is pretty simple.
There are no real reviews out there. I first heard about Therasnore from an advertisement on a snoring site. I visited the website, the device seemed pretty cool so I decided it to give it a try. But before I did some research for online reviews and I couldn't find any. Most "reviews" like this one are actually presentations of the product and not from hands-on experience.
Regardless, I still decided to buy it. Before I tell you what I liked and not some things about me and my background. I am 35 years and I snore a lot. Sometimes I actually wake from my snoring or maybe it's apnoea, I really don't know. What I know is that my sleep is bad and waking up in the morning used to suck a lot. I would need at least 1-2 hours and many coffees to feel normal and after 12:00 I would get sleepy all the time. My sleeping problems started at about the age of 25 years old.
So where was I? Yes. I ordered therasnore from the official website. Shipping took if I remembered correctly about 10 days. Not super fast, not super slow. It came from the UK, so with borders and stuff I guess it's ok.
The first thing you have to be careful is that before using the device you must mould it to your teeth. It's a tricky process but not very difficult. It involves using hot (boiling) water, waiting a few minutes and then putting into your mouth. Just make sure to follow the included instructions to the letter because you only have one chance to do it correctly!
So now let's move on to the questions you probably have if you'r thinking of buying therasnore.
Did it work?
Yes, it did. After about 20 days I started feeling better. My sleep improved a lot and I woke up less times. My sleepiness during the day also improved and I now find it a lot easier to wake up and move out of the bed!
Did you have any problems with Therasnore?
Again, yes I did. The mouthpiece is after all a foreign body for your mouth so you need some time to get used to it. It took me about 10 days to start getting used to it will I sleep. Especially the first five days were very difficult and sleeping was almost impossible. Be patient and you will get used to it
Did you have any side effects?
Other than the initial difficulty to sleep no.
Would you recommend it?
I would only recommend it if you have tried other things before (like I had) with out much success. Stuff like exercising, quitting smoking, losing weight etc.
What's your overall opinion?
Therasnore improved my sleep, my snoring and I feel better during the day and less sleepy. Maybe there are better anti-snoring mouthpieces out there, or maybe not. This is the one I tried and all I can say is that I am happy with my purchase!
Why did you buy Therasnore and not some other mouthpiece?
I decided to try this one because it's approved in england by their national healthcare system (NHS) and because there are some clinical trials assessing its efficacy.
