Tales from the Crest, Part I: The Cockpit. The Razor Crest’s cockpit is accessible for 1:1 scale humans via a removable canopy, which has large enough windows to allow for nice interior shots from the outside while the canopy is closed. In comparison to the BMF (Big Millennium Falcon), there is no hinge holding the canopy in place while opened, so to open the cockpit, the canopy gets removed entirely. Similar to the Falcon, the actual entry door to the cockpit is fake and does not slide open to reveal whatever should be behind. In fact here the BMF at least has some sort of corridor on the other side of the fake cockpit door where the Crest has actually nothing on the other side of the door that would even look like an entry to the cockpit (unless you want to climb through the toilet, but that’s a tale to be told for another time). The cockpit is a three seater (one less than the BMF) and each of its seats is fixed, unlike those in the Falcon‘s cockpit, which can be turned and slided back and forth to accommodate for Wookiee or Princess legs alike. The Crest‘s cockpit is quite spacious and Mando can easily stand in it with the canopy closed while not scratching the ceiling with his Beskar helmet. The controls are well detailed and Mando can hold the rudders nicely while sitting tight and comfortable in his captain seat.
