Bo had been tidying her already spotless room all day, not bothering to interact with anyone socially. She had been sick of being alone so she sent out a text to someone she hadn't talked to in a short amount of time. After texting Hunter, she found herself smiling a little. She tore her hair down from the lazy ponytail and began to curl it loosely and painted her face with a touch of makeup before sliding on a half dressy-half casual dress, She slipped on heels, to make her small, delicate appearance change at least a little. She smiled at herelf in the mirror, twirling around with a smile. She winked at herself in the mirror, admiring her perfect cat eye. As a dancer, she was always looking to improve because every turn, every move, and every leap counts. Just like now, she was seeking improvement in herself; she was maturing as a young lady, and becoming someone that people could rely on. That's what counted to her.
She grabbed her phone and traced her lips with the pale pink lipstick, grinning at herself. She had been thinking a lot about Hunter and she wanted him to see that she wasn't the stupid little girl he accused her of being. She was someone who, like him, was growing in her experiences here. She wasn't perfect, and she made mistakes like everyone did. She hurt people and she regretted things she's done.
The girl grinned, knowing that Hunter and her would be okay as friends. She thought of their last time at the beach and her drunken rant. Bo still felt beautiful from his words that night. She made her way to the living room, sitting at the piano as she waited. Trailing her hand across the keys, she began to play a song she remembered by heart, singing quietly along to the instrumental music.
