You nailed it! I used to get a lot of smirks and snorts saying I was a student, and you just knew they thought “waste of time”. Fuck it, it will benefit somehow. Some people are just too linear.

I completely agree. It would be one thing if they were offering actual advice instead of just condescending remarks, or even if said remarks were coming from people who had any idea what they were going on about. I mean, look at you - you're getting to interview a bunch of your favorite bands, and that's awesome! Sure it might not make you rich or "successful" in the sense that boring people would think, but it's fucking awesome and likely way more fulfilling for you than whatever they do is for them

I see you've referred to me as an asshole and I feel a quote from Tyler, The Creator is appropriate here: "I'm not an asshole, I just don't give a fuck a lot." That being said, you completely missed the point of what I was saying. I was simply using Islam, homosexuality, pro-life, & Christianity as examples. There are many I could have used, those are just the ones I chose. And for the record, I know a lot about religion. I have my personal beliefs & I'm actually a religious scholar in training.

I was actually talking to someone else. Sorry for the confusion. However, jsyk the fact that you're a religious scholar "in training" doesn't mean you actually understand organized religion. Also, if you don't give a fuck about anyone (unless it's yourself so you can cry out against how unfair it is that some people can address their racial oppression, but white people can't), that makes you an asshole. And the fact that you still used f****** again after being explained that it doesn't belong to you and then crying about how you don't have privilege and failing to actually listen to any of the things I explained makes you an asshole. I don't really have time for you if you're not going to actually listen or try to understand.
