tbh the #1 way to make friends on tumblr is1) check the blogs of new followers  to see if you like thier content. if so, follow them back2) make personal posts a lot. shit post a lot. just make original posts. then, your mutuals will respond to these posts, and you will respond to theirs, and then you will be friends.

number 2 also allows you to get notes just because if you make a lot of original posts eventually theyll get notes probably
