At the mouth of the cave, his once-determined steps faltered, and Thorin cast a glance over his shoulder at his nephew.  Was he truly so shaken up?  Had their separation from the others affected him so?  He would like to answer his own questions with a resounding no, but...between that plea, and the look on Kili's face, there was no denying it. 

Sighing softly, Thorin relented with a short nod, turning slowly on his heel to return to his place.  Seated, right at his youngest nephew's side.  "Aye, Kili.  I am not going anywhere."

"That is why I use a sword," Fili commented, shaking his head lightly. He looked back over to Kili, his frown lifting into a small, sheepish smile. "You're the true archer here, what do you think I'm doing wrong?"
