A Deal. A Bargain. Fulfilled. | @theredmustang
Lucifer went right to the spot where he knew all the rings were kept. Locked away and sealed away tight. Supposedly protected. The archangel-turned-demon just smirked, scoffing at the feeble measures put in place to protect such supposedly important 'articles'. Wards and spells and etchings that Lucifer knew how to break. Demon or not, susceptible to those little annoying salt burns and holy water stings or not, he still had a few tricks up his sleeve. As the saying goes.
He had known where they were from the moment he'd gotten out of the Cage in the first place. Had ensured he knew their very location, knew how to get to them, how they were 'protected,' who knew about them. He had wanted to know everything about the very keys to his Cage. And so he had. Lucifer had kept up with that little tidbit of information from the beginning, refusing to let the slightest bit of news slip past him. And it had paid off.
For now, the archangel-turned-demon pocketed every last Horseman ring with a grin as he strolled off to meet the little rider.
