It doesn’t upset me that you grew tired of me as I got older. It upsets me that you looked at me this young and decided that my life would not be worth it to you; it upsets me that even when you found out you were pregnant with me you knew you would keep smoking, drinking, and partying. It’s upsets me that you didn’t just be respectful about a new baby/first baby entering my fathers life and just letting him care for me. No, instead you decided to stay. You stayed knowing you’d cheat on him whenever you could. You stayed knowing you wanted me dead. You stayed believing you would end us, my dad and I. And when that didn’t happen, you took things way too far and ruined our family. You introduced me to hard drugs, you changed my life forever. But most of all, I hate the fact that I let myself fall under you. I let myself get addicted and depressed. I let myself hurt, I never told on you. I never told anyone what you did to me. You may be the start of the cause of what happened to me and my traumatic past, but this is my fault. The only thing I can say to you now, is we are alive. My dad is a humble man and no one will take me from him. You dug your grave, now bask in it.
