anakin still isn't used to the whole "force-ghost" thing.
he remembers dying — remembers seeing luke's, his son's, face as he did. and then he woke up with obi-wan and yoda, hovering over him. the look in obi-wan's teary eyes is something he's never going to forget for as long as he (sort of) lives.
❝how long have you been here?❞ anakin asks.
they're sitting together, getting to know each other, when anakin asks. he senses, his counterpart is much older than him — there's something OTHERWORLDLY and ANCIENT about her — and so he's curious to know.
