Would you ever write a poly ship? What's a character that you desperately want your muse to play with? Why? What's your favorite ship with your muse?

would i ever write a poly ship? ;; i would! the chemistry between the characters would have to be really good, though, and there would have to be LOTS of ooc chemistry as well since that’s more intensive than just a regular relationship.

Hi! So I have three questions. 1. Is there anyway to reach lower (So a soprano could sing alto, Visa Versa) your voice? 2. How can I ease audition panics and be more confident during them? (I had one today and nearly had a panic attack when I missed my cue!) 3. How do you know when to start singing to the full song when you only rehearsed to a simplified tune? (I had only rehearsed to the tune and the pianist had played the full tune. So I kept missing my cue and got flustered.)

Other than the whole flustered/panicking thing about the cues and going blank on the song (The artistic director said I could restart) and nearly being late (The boy before me didn't come so luck was partly on my side), I think I did quite well (It was my first acting/singing audition; my previous audition was only dance. I didn't forget any of the monologue either!

Absolutely.  Not every soprano will have the capabilities to sing in the alto range, but many do.

Well, you either need to have someone play the full song for your or listen along with the recording or find a video of someone singing the full song.  That way you can get accustomed to the lead in.

Thank you to therevolutionarygirl1832, isisparker and tunedintoangelradio for finally teaching me to say Tveit right. I’d been saying it wrong for embarrassingly long (tiv-ate is how I have been, oh man. Close but no dice).

So I have dilemma. I got £75 to join a drama related club/project. I want to join a youth music production of Into The Woods but it cost £5 to audition and £60 to perform (To cover respective costs). They are holding the auditions in June. Or I could join a drama club hosted by a big theatre (A lot of tours perform there) for a term of ten weeks at £60. Should I wait till next year to audition for the Youth Music Theatre and join the drama club to gain more experience... 1/?

2/? because the YMT wants to know how many shows I have been in which is 3 as a dancer and 1 actually acting. Or do I audition this year and see how it plays out. (They also don't specify what I need to bring to the audition. Sheet music etc.) Any suggestions on what I should do? Because my school doesn't have any sort of drama clubs or even a class.

I think it would be worthwhile to try for the Into the Woods production--only five pounds to audition isn’t that much of a risk, and if you don’t get in, no big deal!  But if you do, it could be a great way to build your performance resume, meet people, and gain more experience on stage!  But if you don’t get in, the drama club is also a great opportunity, obviously, and you will get 10 weeks of great experience!

Do you have any advice about stage fright? And anxiety in general?

Remember to breathe. I know it can be easy to forget how, but just inhale deeply and exhale slowly. Close your eyes and think about whatever it is that makes you happy. Remember the reason you have for being on a stage, be it during a performance, delivering a speech, et cetera and remember why it is important to you. 

As for anxiety, keep something comforting with you or, if you have a good friend, turn to them for help. Talk to them, it helps. During a panic attack, this can be extremely helpful. I, myself, need help calming down when I have panic attacks. Just remember to breathe. Inhalers can help with this, if you have one.
