June 16th would’ve been the 47th birthday of the immortal Tupac Shakur. Against all odds, Tupac rose to fame, had a number one album while incarcerated, recorded 5 solo albums, 1 collaboration album, and left behind enough material for 6 other posthumous albums. He was also an incredibly talented actor that stole every film he was in and no doubt had many great performances ahead of him. Most importantly of all, in his 25 years on this earth Pac managed to inspire generations of people of many ages and classes are taught on his poetry and body of work. What other way was there to cap all of this off than to become the first solo rapper to ever be inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame in his very first year of eligibility. Most importantly to ME...the man spoke to me. More skilled mc’s have walked this earth but I never felt a single one of them the way I felt Tupac Shakur. I have been buying music across formats since I was a small child. The very first CD I ever bought with my own money...”2Pacalypse Now.” Happy late birthday and R.I.P. 2Pac. I can’t help but think you’d have a ton of real wisdom to share with us all on the state of our country and world... #nowspinning #vinyl #vinyligclub #vinyljunkie #vinylcollection #vinylcollectionpost #vinylcollection_feature #vinylcommunity #vinylcommunitypost #vinylcommunity_feature #vinyloftheday #vinyllover #vinylgen_feature #recordcollection #deathtodigital #digitalsucks #happinessisloudtunes #happinessisclassichiphop #therevolutionwillnotbedigital #vinylisforeveryone #2pac #rip2pac
