The fatal crash of an Army helicopter in Afghanistan last Thursday came just four days after an Army wife at Schofield Barracks released a powerful music video on YouTube. News of their home-base has given the song even more meaning. Olivia Perez-Breland wrote "There You Go Again" for military spouses who have endured deployments and separations.
Perez-Breland is the wife of a Schofield Captain. She directed, produced and edited the video. No actors were used. These were active-duty Army soldiers and their families who were at the time, preparing for deployment to Afghanistan. The song was produced by Shawn Pimental and Michael Grande of Studio Ala Moana and is available on iTunes. The Mississippi-native says she'll donate half of her proceeds to the Fisher House Foundation to support military families.
