ohhh i think i’d redo the day when a couple of the Lads came over to mine and we did a bunch of cool shit like bake a monster cookie and play games together includin keep talking and nobody explodes (stressful times) and irl cah which is honestly. so fun bc we used a custom deck. either that or the day assassins creed syndicate arrived bc i’m actually trash and that was such a happy day for me

ahhh the never ending struggle of the welfare state

this government hates young people omg they said we have to either “learn or earn” but then proceeds to make it impossible to do either. students who don’t have rich parents can’t learn because the government are charging ridiculous amounts for the degree and then not giving enough for living costs e.g. i have £64 for food for 12 weeks

and then they have excluded under 25s from the new higher ‘living wage’ so they continue to earn less for doing the exact same job as someone else because they’re younger ??? and they also got rid of housing benefits for under 25s (why??? who knows) so they’re gonna be homeless too

i mean its been proven that thats actually why the conservatives/republicans win so often. the tories rely on the fact that the youth dont participate, which is why they never encourage them to like the labour party does.

the grey vote (old people, pensioners) currently own approx 33% of the votes -- if every youth voted, that percentage would decrease significantly. when the tories say “better things for old people! worse things for young people” they will WIN because that’s almost 33% guaranteed
