Good Morning, CLT Scene!! Before we can talk about today, we need to wrap up last night in a neat little music box, comprised of The Sad Joys, visiting 7277 all the way from Vermont, and our hometown heroes, Heckdang 🎶 ~~~~~~~~~~ Formally named Michael Jordan Touchdown Pass, the Sad Joys bring a very cozy presence to the stage with their mix of upbeat folk pop & rock. We loved how they set the tone somewhat inbetween sets, the bassist landing jokes while the face of the band Mike talked about experiences on the road. The note they left on, "Love each other", definitely embodied them, even during when we all spoke after their set. Thank you for stopping in, guys, and good luck on the road!! ~~~~~~~~~~ Closing out the night, Heckdang brought the hard hits back into the room with their constantly powerful lyrics & rock stylings. Last night was confirmed to be the pause button on performing in Charlotte before going back out on tour again this September. Magda, our posh personic punk fronter, promised that CLT would be able to check them again in late fall, so from us at RF20XX & your fans, go get it out there & show 'em why our scene rocks the hardest.
