Mass destroying airplane
Professor: so everyone can agree that mass is neither created or destroyed?
Class: in most cases.
Professor: when isn't it?
Class: nuclear reactions.
Professor: well since the atomic age we have known that energy and mass can be interchanged that's how the universe came to be. However that's not how airplanes fly
Class: YET!
Professor: well currently turbojets just have air go on then lots of fire and burning but no mass is created or destroyed no matter how hot you get it. So with that caveat can everyone agree for right now we can assume conservation of mass for airplanes?
