(🐤) Does your character use Daycares? Or do they manage all the training and caretaking themselves? 

Kiibo, being capable of warming his entire body up, is perfectly able to hold and incubate eggs. He’s hatched his partner Pokemon, Luxio, and he also hatched his Rotom. Not to say that he wouldn’t utilise the services of a daycare if the responsibilities as a gym leader overwhelms his schedule, but he usually likes to take care of eggs himself. He also prefers to train and care for his Pokemon rather than allow someone else to do it.

(🗻) What type of journey is your character on? Are they tackling the Pokémon League, engaging in contests, on researching endeavors, a ranger scouting for danger? Or do they have a more ‘normal’ occupation? What type of life do they lead?

Kiibo is the secondary/back-up gym leader of an Electric type gym, ran by his father, Professor Idabashi. While he was definitely not built for the purpose of being a back-up gym leader, he happily took on the responsibility when he saw how busy his father was. He thinks it is a great way to put himself in a leadership role, offering advice to trainers battling him while also bonding deeply with his own Pokemon…in the hopes that one day, he will be able to embark on his own journey and explore the region on his own terms.

(📱) How full is your character’s Pokedex?

He…doesn’t have an official one. But he has probably seen around a hundred or so Pokemon from his various challengers, and owns around seven Pokemon of his own.

In what ways has someone hurt you? Who?

“Oh boy, starting off like that huh? Well fine then, the last time someone hurt me was by total accident actually! I was helping Kazuichi with a project and he accidentally hit me with one of his tools because he didn’t hear me come back from grabbing snacks. I got a socket wrench to the knee and let me tell you, that hurt like heck.”

Talk about a traumatic experience.

“I... there’s only one time I can think of that was traumatic for me, and that was when we almost lost Nagi. It was... so scary. I didn’t know what to do, I didn’t know what I could do. He looked so pale in that moment I... I don’t like to talk about that time. Not because it hurts so bad, but also because it’s not right to tell that kind of story to just anyone. Especially not without Nagi’s permission.”

Who’s the last person you kissed? Is there anyone you’d like to kiss?

“Like, do you mean on the cheek or like, an actual kiss? Because if we’re talking about just on the cheek I kiss my friends on the cheeks all the time. If we’re talking an actual kiss? Well... never. At least not yet. As for who I want to kiss? I mean~ There’s a few people I have in mind, b-but I don’t think I’ll ever get the chance really! And that’s fine! I like being their friend anyway!”

What habits/tics do you have? Do you annoy people with them?

“Well I do have a few. A lot of times when I’m listening to music I end up moving my hands as if I’m still playing on my turntable, it’s pretty common and while I hope it doesn’t bother anyone, it might be a little annoying to see. I get over excited and talk super fast sometimes, even end up getting way off topic while I’m talking too. And I also have a habit of tilting my head when I get confused.”

Are you allergic to anything?

“I could literally end up in the hospital if I’m out in the sun too long even with my medicated sun screen and being all covered up. I’m severely allergic to the sun’s rays and it’s honestly super inconvenient. I’m also allergic to shellfish, but it’s not nearly as bad as my sun allergy. If I accidentally eat shellfish the worst that will happen is my throat gets itchy and I lose my voice, but if I don’t wear my medicated sun screen and cover up? I could end up in the ER in less than an hour, depending on how cloudy it is.”

When was the last time you cried? What happened?

“If you’re expecting some kinda traumatic experience or some shit, sorry to disappoint you. The last time I cried was when I got dragged out by some of the girls to watch a chick flick with them because Kyoko wouldn’t go with them to see it. The movie was way more emotional than I had thought it would be and yes, I cried. It was a well written movie okay? Not all chick flicks suck ass like those stupid Hallmark movies everyone talks about.”

“Ah, of course I would be the one to receive this type of question. If you must know so badly, I guess I will talk about my stay at the hospital once I was... removed from my birth parent’s care. The stay was rather 'eventful’ to say the least. Many nurses were scared for my health, both mental and physical, as my body was very weak and frail from the many years of neglect. There were several times that the doctors thought I simply would not recover due to how severe my case was. Luckily my body pulled through, though my mind was still very much... ‘broken’ might not be the best word to use but it is the only one that comes to mind at the moment. Needless to say, my beginning years were not kind to me.”

How many blankets do you sleep with? How big is your bed? How soft/firm is it? Can you sleep anywhere or under certain conditions?

“I can sleep anywhere, any time! I had a little habit of falling asleep on stream sometimes during my hunts when I would set up my stuff for the night. I would lay down, still talking to my chat, and the next thing they know I’m out like a light! As for my bed? I need a HUGE bed since all of my dogs like to sleep in it with me. I don’t exactly have the heart to tell them no, and I need so many blankets since my dogs also like to steal those while I sleep.”
