Prompt! Ethan and Aiden with Ethan in a skirt?

Ethan’s in a skirt. And he’s shaking and he won’t meet his eyes and it’s never been so much like looking in a mirror as it was having an out of body experience when he looked at his little brother. And it’s definitely out of body even he’s never been more aware that he’s in his own. The thing about sharing a womb is that they’re connected by that, above and beyond sharing blood, they’re connected. They came from the same egg, split in two and when they shift together they come back to that, almost like completing a cycle. The thing about that is that they share a brain and these thoughts have never entered his head and he assumed he’d know that they’d entered Ethan’s. But the lunacy — haha, see what he did there (yes, he’s hysterical. so sue him, but he think’s the situation merits it) — of the situation goes to show you never really know a person, even if society pretty much banks on you knowing them like the back of your hand. "Aiden, say something."

And he can’t speak yet because he;s trying to get his head together and deal with the fact that his baby brother is wearing a skirt that shows the muscled line of his calf and a tempting flash of thigh through a slit that’s —"Too, damn high!""What?"

And it’s not that he doesn’t care, it’s just that they’ve spent too much time and energy conforming and being bound and wolves aren’t meant to be tamed and he hates it when Ethan has that unhappy set to his mouth, somehow more innocent and heartbreaking in his little brother’s face. "Does it matter?"

And he knows the answer’s yes before he speaks, but his brother already has a boyfriend and he’s wearing a skirt and they’re not nearly as identical as he thought. "It kind of does. I don’t want you to be mad at me or whatever…"

And in that moment, he wonders if he does that shuffle-feet-nervous-thing and formulates an answer with words that are more fact than his own opinion."I could never be mad at you or whatever.
