Sometimes Ember didn't think clearly, especially not around him. There was something that clouded her better judgment, but at that moment she didn't really care all too much. His lips on hers and then the sharp, immediate pain of the bite. Her teeth bared in a hiss, but the look in her eyes was anything but angry.

They really were quite the pair.

With her body flush against his own, she didn't even try and pull away as she looked up at him when the words reached her ears. "Is that EVEN a question?" Her voice lost in that low growl as she lifted up on her toes and nipped at his lower lip in turn, catching the edge and causing a bit of blood to come to the surface.
