Damian, Damian, Damian.....
Thank You kind sir, for carrying on tradition as the regal lion king, that you are.
It is tragic that you were only 2 years of age when your father passed away.
"Tuff Gong" Marley will ForEver live on, through his mighty pen and an immortal voice.
Our musical revolutionary.
A man. Caribbean from Jamaica; who posessed a deep connection with Mama Africa.
He united us All oppressed ones, under One voice.
Charmingly dashing and Cunningly sharp;
Sir Bob Marley captivated the World and has never left us since..
I do believe papa Bob, would be impressed by you Jr.Gong, with your contributions not only as an artist but as a forward thinking man.
Oh and.... Before I forget Damian,
Thank you for connecting with 1 of my Top 10 hip Hop artists, Nas.
Excuse me for being a bit presumptuous but I think he needed a change of sorts. You seem like a good friend to him. It sure has been a wide and bumpy road for the lad, as we all know it sometimes can become in Life. His true fans are loyal, regardless. We will tell you about yourself if/when needed; although the love & respect never fades. I was starting to get worried after the child support settlement and divorce was all finalized. Phew!!!
The album release of "Distant Relatives" (2010) was also a tangible way to commemorate not only a musical bond but a shared African ancestry between Damian and Nasir.
A true common thread of DNA that connects 2 unique fellas.
It pays to know your worth.
It pays to know your History/Herstory
It pays to tell your own story.
