I think this boot has just about had it what do you think? These boots have lasted me a long time, through all kinda madness. I first got these from my uncle Marty back in 2015 when I started doing Tree cutting. These boots have been up and down hundreds of trees, through hundreds of tons of rock, through the BS at circle K and through my whole career as a Budtender and they are STILL here. I think it's time for some new ones and a new chapter. All the miles we've been through. I wasn't in the service but these boots have gotten me through the thick of life. I am grateful for them. Debating getting another pair from a Surplus shop but they are fuck all expensive (to me). When I was little I used to wait for my dad to come home from work at the top of the stairs. I would jump in his red ‘57 Chevy Belair hardtop and sit next to him as he would drive the car the rest of the way down the driveway and park it in the garage. When he would go into the house, he would take off his work boots and leave them by the front door as not to track metal scraps and grease into the rest of the house. My dad’s old friend sent me this photo of the time I put on my dad’s boots and pretend was going to go work in the machine shop.
